CKD & CBU Shipping Policy

This policy outlines the procedures and guidelines for the export and delivery of CKD (Completely Knocked Down) and CBU (Completely Built Up) units to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

1. General Terms

• All CKD and CBU shipments shall comply with international shipping regulations and the import requirements of the destination country.

• Every shipment is subject to internal quality checks, documentation verification, and export licensing prior to dispatch.

2. CKD (Completely Knocked Down) Shipments

• Packaging: All CKD components will be packed in reinforced crates or pallets, clearly labeled, and itemized with a packing list for easy identification.

• Documentation: Each shipment will include:

  • Commercial Invoice

  • Packing List

  • Bill of Lading

  • Certificate of Origin (if required)

  • Export Declaration

• Assembly Manual: A detailed assembly manual and component checklist will be included for the receiving party.

• Custom Requirements: Buyers must confirm CKD import regulations (e.g., tax incentives or assembly requirements) in advance to avoid clearance issues.

3. CBU (Completely Built Up) Shipments

• Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI): All CBU units undergo PDI to ensure functionality and quality before shipping.

• Packaging: Vehicles will be shipped in protective wrapping or crated (if required) to prevent transit damage.

• Documentation: Includes:

  • Commercial Invoice

  • Packing List

  • Bill of Lading

  • Certificate of Origin

  • Vehicle Inspection Report (Photo & Video)

  • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) registration (if applicable) - Engine Number & Frame Number

• Transport Insurance: All CBU shipments are covered with marine insurance unless otherwise requested by the buyer.

4. Shipping Terms

• Incoterms: Shipments are processed under agreed Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, Ex-Work), as specified in the sales contract.

• Lead Time: Standard preparation and shipping time is 14–21 business days after payment confirmation, subject to availability and order size.

• Tracking: A shipping confirmation and tracking number will be provided upon dispatch.
